A kitchen transformation.

A kitchen transformation.

Many homeowners we know would absolutely love a kitchen transformation. Those old chipped, counters, worn cabinets, appliances from the eighties, and much more: if only they could have a whole new kitchen.

But there are ways to effect a transformation in your kitchen with a lot less upheaval and lot less expense. We are talking about the installation of custom kitchen stained glass. Now, when we suggest that to clients, we sometimes get a puzzled look, so let us explain.

There is no one particular kind of stained glass that is kitchen stained glass, it’s simply any stained glass that you install in your kitchen. And this can be in your kitchen windows, any kitchen doors you might have, or even your kitchen cabinets.

We think that you will be amazed at just how kitchen stained glass takes your older or simply ordinary kitchen and revamps it into something with a whole different look and feel to it. Let’s start with your kitchen windows, if you have any. Stained glass can be done with clear glass (which is another thing many of our clients did not realize), frosted glass, colored glass, or any combination of different types of glass. What you choose will depend on your tastes, and perhaps the view outside your kitchen windows. Do you want to replace it with something prettier, or leave it but still add some major style and oomph with custom stained glass made with mostly clear glass?

Do you want to let as much light in as possible or might you want to block some of it? Do you want to add a jolt of vivid color to the kitchen, or keep it neutral? All these different things will be factors to consider when you work with our designers to create your perfect kitchen stained glass.

And then there are kitchen stained glass doors as well. Do you have a door leading out to the patio or deck? A stained glass insert in that door is a lovely idea that can even let more light into your kitchen, if it tends to be on the dark side. Or what about your pantry door? A stained glass insert there will tie in your new stained glass windows in a completely stunning, high-end looking way. And then, last but hardly least when it comes to doors, are your kitchen cabinet doors. Cabinet stained glass is really catching on because of the amazing elegance, style, and “oomph” it adds to a kitchen.
